Welcome to Marisland website.My company is involved in wholesale/distribution/export of organic fertilizers derived from seaweeds and carrageenan (food additives). Carrageenan are used in almost all food products as enhancer, emulsifier, stabilizer and binder (i.e. processed meat, poultry, dairy, juices, desserts, sweets, beverages, petfood, personal care & other industrial products. Our carrageenan are Europe & USFDA approved. Exported to various countries.
We are also looking for an investor for our planned expansion project (joint venture) in the Philippines and in Europe. Carrageenan market is projected to reach US$1 billion by year 2010 and forecasted to grow 15% annually. Seaweeds, the raw materials of carrageenan are supplied mostly (70% of the world requirements) from Philippines and we are based in the Philippines, so we are in the strongest position to take advantage of this opportunity.
